Their soba is just mediocre, not very good though not too bad. There was only a taciturn old lady serving whose capacity to take care of guests seemed to be so low that she was unable to deal with multiple requests at a time. Another downside is they accept cash only.
View on GoogleA warm town soba shop I went alone for dinner. When I entered the shop, a friendly woman greeted me with "welcome" and the atmosphere was like returning to my parents' home, which warms the heart. There are many menus and I was very confused about which one to choose, but I chose nabeyaki udon. When it arrived and I sipped the broth, the hot and slightly sweet Kanto-style dashi soaked into my whole body. After that, I ate the shrimp tempura and sipped the udon. Not only my heart, but my stomach... my body warms up. It was a shop that makes me want to come periodically when I feel like it. There are also quite a few types of Japanese sake, so next time I want to go to drink sake.
View on GoogleI had dinner there because I happened to pass by while traveling. The food was very authentic, and the owner was also very kind. On the way home, I was even given candy, truly heartwarming hospitality.
View on GoogleI was always curious because every time I passed in front of it, there was a nice smell of dashi. This day I was in the mood to eat soba, so I stopped by for lunch. Since I like eggs, I ordered tsukimi soba. It has a homely, comforting taste. It's easy to stop by even alone and it's delicious. You can enjoy sake from the daytime, and it's also possible to enjoy snacks or soba while drinking sake. Next time I want to stop by here again slowly. Thank you for the meal.
