One man runs the place. Two tables and two seats on the counter. People dine in and out but it's very chill and quiet. The loudest sound came from the tv. The vibe reminds me of netflix's Midnight Diner, but smaller. The food is great, the tempura batter is so crisp. I also need to mention that there is a fresh fish/seafood market nearby. There is a limited english menu and more options on the Japanese menu. I suggest use a translator and choose from the Japanese. Quality does not differ from both. If you don't want to spend too much time choosing, the English menu offers a representation of everything. I really like this place.
View on GoogleWent for an early dinner on a weeknight. The restaurant wasn't busy, and it isn't large. There are a few counter seats and two tables. The proprietor? was friendly. He offered an English menu with pictures. The food was prepared quickly. The tempura batter was crispy with thicker, crunchier bits. The tempura was coated in sauce but not saturated. The miso soup was mild. The pickles were good. I didn't have to order a drink, and I paid with RakuPay. May return.
View on GoogleA small, but excellent place to enjoy tempura. The menu is simple, but the dishes are perfectly prepared. The crust was dry and crispy, as I like it. Very, oily and soft tempura is not my thing. This will take a bit longer, but the wait is worth and can be shortened with a proper served draft beer. The prices are very reasonable, I highly recommend this place.
View on GoogleVery nice. Will give english menu with photos. excellent tempura. Good miso.
View on GoogleExcellent tempura. But if you come, make sure you come early as there was only two tables and few counter seats. Owner ran everything himself, very nice and did he best to accommodate everyone. He offered us an English menu but we use google translate and ordered from the Japanese menu. Food was exceptionally good. The batter was light but crispy. Many places over done it with either too much batter or sauce, but here the amount was well balanced. Wonderful for lunch. The wife usually doesn't eat fried food, but had enjoyed it so much we came again the next day. Price was affordable and I highly recommended to anyone to give this establishment a try.
