It’s an old and traditional restaurant! The quantity and taste was so good considering the price. And Their “shoga-yaki : ginger pork” is my favorite! If you would like to try that style of restaurant, I recommend here. But their menu is in Japanese language only and I’m not sure the shop holders are able to speak English even though they are friendly.

Round the corner from The Tourist Hotel in Akihabara this is a fab place for lunch. Low key, delicious , amazing value for money. Staff couldn’t be more lovely. Go - enjoy!

Came for lunch on a weekday. Had the shogayaki set meal. You know. You can tell just from the storefront. This is a working person's meal spot. A place that isn't for everyone. So, let's get into that shogayaki set. A fried egg comes as standard. Potato salad and cabbage too. Since it's a set, rice and miso soup. The pork belly makes the rice disappear fast. Delicious. There are 2 fried eggs, so it's nice to pair them generously with the meat. The understated, old-school flavor brought back that nostalgic feeling of simply enjoying a meal, like traveling back to childhood. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. It's in a location that's hard for me to visit often, but I'd like to stop by again.

Visited for lunch Ordered the ebi fry and shogayaki set meal It was served in about 5 minutes Ebi fry, shogayaki, a fried egg, shredded cabbage, and potato salad—a generous spread Slightly sweet potato salad, shogayaki seasoned just how I like it, and miso soup full of tofu Comforting, home-style flavors The owner and male staff member were lovely too It was a nice place

Set meal with 3 kaki fry and shogayaki Asked for the egg to be cooked firm Good, honest food and prices The owner (?), perhaps, was very kind, but I'm worried about the safety of the building itself.....
