I ate at 鬼太郎寿司 in 上野🍣 I had various sushi this time, but the salad maki stood out the most🥰 With its crisp texture and well-balanced fillings, it was so delicious I wanted to order more. Of course, the nigiri was fresh too, and the relaxed atmosphere for enjoying sushi is another attraction. It's an easy place to drop by when you're craving sushi in 上野, whether alone or with a group. I was wandering around without a reservation at year-end and happened to come in. Luckily, a few counter seats were available. After that they were full and turned away several people. There were plenty of regulars, and with grilled dishes and delicacies available, the offerings beyond sushi were satisfying too. The sushi rice had a loose, separating texture and just the right temperature, and the rolls were delicious as well. The sashimi snacks had creative touches: the kohada was rolled in nori with shiso, gari, and young green onion shoots. It was very delicious! The prices were good value, and there was an extensive selection of good drinks. I really liked it and want to go again.

I was drinking on 仲町通り, which connects 上野~湯島, and stopped here as my second place. There are 湯島 and 上野 branches, and this time I visited the 上野 branch. As you'd expect from a nightlife district, various sushi restaurants line the neighborhood, making competition fierce. From luxury sushi to major chains, they're packed together in one of Tokyo's most competitive sushi areas. Inside, there are more than 10 counter seats. There are also tables and tatami seating at the back. It's a popular restaurant, almost full despite it being a weekday. What I ordered is listed above. >Tokujo The nigiri lineup is as follows. Tekka maki Chutoro Tai Akami Akagai Uni Ikura Aka ebi Tamago I think 2970円 for this is good value. All 3 tuna nigiri at this restaurant have a lovely amount of fat. They feel a little geared toward younger people, but the juicy tuna is very delicious. The other toppings are reliably tasty too. Given the season, as a shellfish lover I appreciated the presence of akagai. We're entering a good season. The uni has no fishy odor, and the shrimp is moist. I feel they maintain good textures in what they serve. >Chawanmushi Reliably delicious. The fluffy texture and smooth mouthfeel are wonderful. That's all. A long-established sushi restaurant in a lively district within walking distance of 上野駅, 上野広小路駅, 湯島駅, and others. The toro, komochi kombu, and ama ebi were particularly delicious. The toro had just the right amount of fat, with its sweetness spreading through your mouth. The additional anago shirayaki we ordered had almost no unpleasant odor, allowing us to elegantly enjoy the pure flavor of anago. Although this was our second stop, we ate a fair amount and finished 2 bottles, yet the price was very reasonable at around 4,000円 per person. I expect I'll be visiting for a wide range of occasions in the future. Thank you for the meal.
