The cafe can be a little hard to find as it's located inside a department store and tucked away in a corner of the level that sells clothes for middle aged ladies. The service and decor of the place is lovely but that's all I can say about it. They have a special pancake and pudding set but most items on the menu were quite high and the variety on the menu wasn't anything you couldn't get from somewhere else.

Awesome pancakes and topping. Coffee was well above average compared to US restaurants. The "black syrup" was interesting with a molasses taste. There was a language barrier but the staff seemed quite nice. The classical music was fitting.

i followed a pudding magazine to here and try their signature caramel pudding. it's nice indeed, smooth and strong egg flavour. best to go with tea (or coffee) as a nice afternoon treat. i saw ladies coming alone and enjoy her book, also elder couples were here. a cozy vibes. no queue time on weekday afternoon. it wasn't a big place. hope you find the photos i took beautiful & useful ;) follow me on ig: food.n.cats.not1less

We are Canadians visiting Ueno, Tokyo, and tonight we were ignored completely and therefore refused entry into the cafe. The female staff at front saw we were waiting and passed us multiple times without attempting eye contact, though we waited to be seated. She clearly saw us but averted her eyes from our gaze. Our money went to a different restaurant and we will not recommend your cafe to anyone travelling to Ueno, Tokyo in the future. You perhaps judged us based on appearance alone without realizing we are patrons eagerly willing to part with money.
