During my recent visit to the renowned Sensō-ji Temple, I stopped by Kimizuka for breakfast, drawn in by the sight of simmering oden displayed at the front of the restaurant. The welcoming staff spoke English fluently and provided a warm and hospitable atmosphere. I had the pleasure of trying the oden, which arrived piping hot and bursting with savoury depth. Subsequently, I opted for the katsu don, featuring a delightfully crisp pork cutlet complemented by an balance of sweet and savoury notes from the egg and onion mixture—a truly satisfying dish. Meanwhile, my father greatly enjoyed the tempura soba, remarking on its comforting qualities perfect for the chilly weather. Given its prime location in a popular tourist district, I found the prices at Kimizuka remarkably reasonable. With its hearty dishes and genuine hospitality, this eatery is well worth a visit for anyone exploring the Asakusa area.

The omorice was soo delicious and saucey, and it came with a soup (maybe dashi?) that was soo delicious and hearty. The yakisoba wasn't to my personal taste. The vibes are very cozy and nice, and the staff speaks English and is very nice too.

Literally have not stopped dreaming about this bowl of oden since I had it. The perfect little stop on a cold day!

Reasonable price, good food. The lady who runs the store can speak English. I saw her talking to a foreigner in English. Hope this helps! The store was not crowded, even though I came here at 1-2PM. They only accept cash.

A very classic eatery at the middle of the asakusa street. The food was simple but delicious and it tasted like a homecooked food.
