Family run Japanese eel restaurant! 60 year old restaurant, run by the two grand daughters serving delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner. Such a wonderful family institution.

A traditional unagi house with exceptional twists. Service was speedy and friendly despite being packed just 20minutes after their lunch opening. I was thinking of wine for a change, seeing bottles of past bottles lining the staircase as we made our way up to the 2nd floor. I asked about the wine selection and the lady of the house presented her badge of honor as a certified sommelier! She suggested a white as pairing that I gladly went with. Everything was priced well on the menu. Our unagi came and it was top notch. As the previous reviews noted, don’t expect a syrupy sweet sauce. But this one has great depth and I deeply enjoyed the savoury meat and wonderful smoky char, with a sip of crisp dry white for good balance. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Early lunch just before noon, seated right away. Ordered the ¥3500 una-ju. It was o....k..... for the price. sauce is a bit too sweet in my taste. Dont get me wrong, it was good, but not ¥3500 good.

Unassuming. We stayed at an airbnb nearby and walked pass this small unagi restaurant a few times but it was always closed. On our last day, we tried our luck and damn… last day luck was on our side. Felt good that this was our last meal in Tokyo before our flight. If you are in the area, please make sure you come around 11-ish otherwise, you'd be disappointed.

It's cute small restaurant with a super tasty unagi. I love it!
