JIRO Craft Burger & Grill
Cool, utilitarian eatery dishing up hefty, handcrafted hamburgers, plus beer & wine.
"Craft Burger & Grill JIRO", accessible from Ueno Station and Asakusa Station, is a shop that combines three elements that burger lovers can't resist: craft burgers, craft beer, and a dog cafe. The hamburgers, which use a [special patty] made of 100% beef seasoned with many spices and buns baked crispy in an oven, have created many repeaters due to the meat juices overflowing with every bite and the deep flavor of the meat. An absolutely delicious burger spot. After two weeks in Japan, I was craving a hamburger and stumbled upon this restaurant. I ordered a cheeseburger with jalapeño and it came with a side of fries. I also ordered a lemon sour. The burger buns are not like anything I have ever had before. Upon my first bite, the top bun was crunchy like glass, but still had a soft interior. I still think about that bite to this day. Nothing I've had in America comes close to this burger! The burger patty was incredibly juicy and flavorful and was complimented by the melty cheese and crisp vegetables. I can tell the chef put in a lot of work into perfecting the burger patty. I was seated at the bar and had the opportunity to watch the chef cook which was lovely. The inside is a homey and intimate interior and liked how they were playing Tom & Jerry on the wall. Stop by if you have a chance and you will not regret it. They also take card! I will definitely be back next time I am in Tokyo and craving a hamburger.
View on GoogleI got the chicken cutlet burger and the matcha milkshake, it was so good! The lady who took our order was kind and they let us in a few minutes early when they came back from a break. Would definitely come back to get something else on the menu!
View on GoogleBurger, beer, and a dog. I have eaten here several times when I've been in the area. Always a good burger and beer with a friendly dog. It's a good place for couples and friends. English menus and friendly staff ready to please. You can also get a drink on the go if you're just passing by.
View on GoogleVery fun retro burger joint atmosphere with delicious, juicy burgers and some of the best fries i've had in Japan. Highly recommend it! No picture of the fries because I went through them almost instantly before I even thought of reviewing. They're that good.
View on GoogleCame here craving a good burger after two weeks of Japanese food, and it lived up to the hype. The cheeseburger was juicy, flavourful, and the bun had the perfect crisp. The buffalo wings were actually chicken tenders, but they had great crunch and a nice kick. The drinks were just as solid. The yuzu lager was bright and easy to sip, and the lemon sour was so refreshing we ended up ordering a second later on. The fish was so good we got another round without the potatoes. Highly recommend.
