Small and free museum about the history of Japanese stationery. Unfortunately, there are no English translations. However, you can still appreciate the interesting artifacts from Japan and other parts of the world. The museum is air conditioned and you get a free pen when you sign the guest book at the entrance!
View on GoogleThis hidden gem shows a brief but elaborate history of all things stationary on a single floor. From typewriters, pens, to pencil cases, and other miscellaneous tools. I even saw those hard-box pencil cases with the sharpener and pencil slots that I fondly used during my childhood! Sadly there's no English translation here, but the display says everything of what's in it. It's a good 20-30 minutes of browsing through, is free admission, and you can get a souvenir stamp here too, for all those Stamp collectors. I suggest stopping by here whenever you're in the area!
