It was simply perfect! I love unagi and this one was one of the best. The whole meal was cooked and decorated to perfection. The place has traditional setting with almost only japanese customers. If you are in Ueno park, do not miss! Best is to book as well.
View on GoogleA very nice restaurant offering a truly authentic Japanese experience, recommended to us by a Japanese friend. The place specializes in hitsumabushi, and it definitely lives up to expectations. We ordered a combo that included tempura, sashimi, a boiled egg soup, and the main eel dish. Everything was very well prepared, with great attention to detail, and the portions were generous. The waiters were very kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed the dinner here and would gladly come back.
View on GoogleThis restaurant wasn't originally part of our plan. We were simply looking for a place to have lunch, and it turned out to be a great experience. The service was excellent, and they even let us charge our phones. The entire experience was professional, and the staff provided outstanding service. As for the food, we found it very good. In fact, compared with many Japanese restaurants we have visited in North America, the quality was outstanding. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were authentic, and the dishes were prepared with great care. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
View on GoogleIt was a Saturday and it only served diners who had reserved tables in the afternoon. So, I made a reservation for dinner on the same day. I was so lucky that I could have dinner here. The dining experience was great! The service was excellent and the dishes, especially the eel, were scrumptious. I like this restaurant.
View on GoogleOrdered the Iki Set. The Sashimi was my favorite meal. The Unagi was very soft and tasty too. Went in 30 minutes early before opening, and there were no people. After I finished eating, I was shocked there was a queue outside. I think reservation is recommended, I just got lucky I was early. Staff was very nice!!
