A very local izakaya serve motsunabe! Staff was friendly, eventho no English menu and speaker here. We have no problem in ordering and the food was delicious. Me and my mom enjoy it so much.

「九州・博多もつ料理 よかたい」 serves authentic Hakata cuisine and is run by a Fukuoka-born owner who spent 15 years working at a もつ鍋 restaurant in Nishiazabu😊✨ Along with tables and counter seats, there's tatami seating at the back, with a relaxed atmosphere even for large groups. Smoking is also ok👍🏻 Everything was delicious right from the opening appetizer, and we couldn't stop eating and drinking🍻 The signature もつ鍋 is incredible!! The broth and plump, springy offal come together perfectly. We even finished with ちゃんぽん麺, but we were so absorbed that we forgot to take photos (haha)  The springy, crunchy texture of the 酢もつ was irresistible too… Honestly, it might have been better than the 酢もつ I had in Fukuoka😂 There were lots of customers who seemed to be locals, and you could really feel how loved this place is. They also have a wide selection of sake and shochu, an irresistible lineup for drink lovers🍶 The homey Japanese atmosphere made us linger without realizing it. A wonderful place to enjoy authentic flavors while in Tokyo. I'll definitely be a repeat customer✨ I'll absolutely go again!☺️

I'd been curious about this place for a while and finally visited for lunch. There are basically ４ lunch options. I had 博多丼, and it was delicious! The アジフライ was huge and fantastic too! I'd like to visit in the evening as well.

Found this place while walking around the neighborhood at lunchtime. A Hakata-style restaurant had appeared without my noticing, so I stepped inside. There are 4 counter seats, tables, and a raised floor-seating area. 🟩チキン南蛮定食 (1,000円 including tax) Rice and miso soup refills available. Comes with a small side dish. Quite a generous portion of chicken. もつ鍋 was hugely popular for a while, but fewer places serve it now, and it's treated as a dish of the past. Even though もつ鍋 is a proud regional dish of Kyushu. I find the way Japanese people get bored so easily a bit disappointing. This is a valuable place to enjoy 博多モツ鍋. I wonder if they could offer モツ鍋定食 at lunch? (≧∀≦)

There's a calendar for the current month outside the restaurant showing which days lunch is available. I finally got to eat here! Proper home cooking! Unlimited rice and miso soup refills. I had キチン南蛮定食, and the meat was tender and easy to eat◎ The miso soup had a lovely full miso flavor, and I finished with another bowl·͜·ᰔ There were other tasty-looking dishes too, so I'd like to visit again.
