It's an old shop with a very strong Showa-era feel, but it feels clean A place like this must be delicious to have lasted so long, I thought, so I started with the standard ramen and half fried rice set The oil heats up, and the sound of eggs and rice being added and stir-fried is pleasant The fried rice arrived at the same time as the ramen This is classic, old-fashioned ramen and fried rice It's been a while since I've had such textbook flavors, and I was happy! Moist, lightly seasoned fried rice, and a clean soy sauce ramen broth The toppings were a little sparse, but I was very satisfied
View on GoogleI had the half fried rice and gyoza set for 900円. There is only counter seating. Ashtrays were placed on the counter. It was lunchtime, but nobody was smoking then. I think it can be considered a "smoking-purpose establishment." Cash payment only.
View on GoogleThere were many 生駒軒 shops when I was a child. This is one of them. Apparently they weren't a franchise but more like a mutual-aid association, with looser ties than, for example, Ramen Shop. A framed certificate from their mutual friendship association hung inside, bearing serial number 138. I was surprised that there had been at least that many. Stepping over the threshold, the interior has only a counter, probably fewer than 15 seats. I carefully slipped behind people eating and sat down. On a first visit, I always choose "ramen and half fried rice." Both were set in front of me with good timing. The ramen had a small, firm piece of chashu and deeply red naruto. Unusually, the menma were bamboo shoot tips. No wakame. The broth was chicken-bone-based, perhaps with kombu. The distinctive spices from the bamboo shoot tips blended with the broth deliciously. The fried rice contained naruto, green onion, and egg. The red of the chopped naruto was striking. The rice was cooked fluffy and fairly soft, but it was a little surprising that the grains didn't stick together. The saltiness was a little strong. I ate it together with the ramen broth. The customers inside had all sorts of orders: individual dishes, sets, noodles, stir-fry set meals, each different. I left wondering whether everything must be delicious.
View on GoogleFirst visit to 生駒軒, which I'd been curious about for a while R6.10.2 arrived at 11:25, 0 customers before me, 1 after me Only counter seating inside, and it seemed thoroughly cleaned. 2 male staff members provided pleasant service Ordered half fried rice+tanmen for 950円 at the counter (cash only, pay afterward) Served after about 10 minutes of waiting The tanmen had relatively few vegetables, but the noodles and broth were well balanced and delicious The fried rice was moist with just the right saltiness, and I enjoyed that too. Thank you for the meal When I left at 11:45, there was 1 customer inside
View on GoogleThis is an old-fashioned neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Inside is a long, narrow counter. The seasoning has that old-fashioned Chinese food flavor. The noodles are thin and straight, and the broth has a light soy sauce flavor. The fried rice has the stronger seasoning of the old days, with thinly sliced naruto. The gyoza have slightly firm wrappers and well-made filling. At lunch there are half fried rice sets with options such as half ramen, gyoza, and stir-fried vegetables. Personally, I think the moyashi ramen and fried rice are delicious.
