I really enjoyed my meal over lunch on the garden terrace. I appreciated they had some blankets because there were cooler temperatures and a large variety of food. I chose the minestrone soup to start and had the seafood au gratin. I gave it four stars for food and service because after I was served I wasn’t checked in on again and had to help myself to salt and pepper from inside the restaurant. I expected a premium for a museum and hotel cafe however, the portions were very small. Both items were yummy but weren’t seasoned and surprisingly the au gratin had penne pasta instead of potatoes. I’d come back but probably just with myself since it’s a stretch for the budget given quality and quantity.

Peach Melba and black tea is such a fantastic combination of flavors. The dessert was especially refreshing in the summer heat and humidity! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I’d like to go back the next time I visit the Tokyo National Museum! 🙂

We had the beef curry with rice, as seen in one of the pictures. Over priced and very disappointing. Very little meat and even less taste. We cannot recommend this restaurant.

Great environment and a very reasonable price. Located inside the museum which makes it not only a very interesting cafe but also a good place to rest after the trip at the museum

Very nice little restaurant inside the museum that offers phantastic service and good quality food. It is not overcrowded and the green around helps to calm down and relax
