It's a facility tucked away quietly in a corner of the grounds, but it has many wonderful exhibits. There are treasures such as the world's oldest Heart Sutra in Sanskrit. When I imagine how wonderful it is that 7th-century treasures have been passed down to the present day (and the efforts of our predecessors behind that), I'm at a loss for words. I think the national and regional character that has protected cultural assets—never being conquered by foreign peoples, and even amid domestic wars—is something to be proud of before the world.
