Visited on Saturday at 17:30. A long-established yakiniku restaurant founded in 1950, now in its 76th year. I had been there a few years ago, and happened to be nearby, so I suddenly remembered and called to make a reservation. The woman on the phone confirmed if I hadn't mistaken it for another shop, so it seems they often get wrong numbers. Arriving on time, it wasn't crowded, and I was guided to a seat that looked like a semi-private room with a roll curtain near the entrance. I remember that when I came before, there were table seats on the 2nd floor and we used them for nearly 10 people. The recommendation is the '3-type yakiniku platter (3,980 yen)', which includes salted beef tongue, harami, and top karubi, 4 pieces each. For this price and this volume, the cost performance is too good. Perhaps because the seats are sofa-type, there were several families (there are 1st and 2nd floors, but the number of seats doesn't seem to be very large), so if you are using it with multiple people or families, it might be safer to make a reservation. ------------------------------- *―Order menu―* ▷3-type kimchi platter (820 yen) ▷Seaweed soup (630 yen) ▷3-type yakiniku platter (3,980 yen) ▷Special liver (1,400 yen) ▷Top loin (1,890 yen) ▷Squid (780 yen) ▷Other drinks -------------------------------

The beef tongue here is delicious. It's a good beef tongue where you can feel that unique texture. Although it's not in the photo, there is a set menu for nearly 4,000 yen, and I felt the composition of that set was very good. At a glance, it includes special beef tongue, special ribs, and skirt steak called harami. I was happy to be able to taste special beef tongue and special ribs for 4,000 yen. The staff were also kind. It must have been difficult for both of us because we are foreigners, but they still welcomed us with a smile. The shop also informs you which parts are sold out on the day. They tell you in Japanese, but if foreigners find it difficult, they can use a translator. Since it's not handwritten, the translation is good. The menu is also in Japanese, but there are photos next to the menu so you can understand what it is to some extent, and since it's not handwritten, it's easy to translate with a translator. The price was about 16,000 yen for 4 people who felt full. The quality of the meat is generally good, and I think it's cost-effective even though we ordered side dishes or drinks. My parents said during the meal that the smoke extraction system in this house seems to be okay. After hearing that, I thought it was true that I felt less of a smell problem. And I think tongs or scissors are quite important elements in a yakiniku house, I tend to use scissors with my left hand, not my right hand. For those who use scissors with their left hand, you know that if the meat quality is bad or the scissors are not good, a disaster occurs where the meat is torn, not cut, but there is no such thing here. Because the scissors are good and the meat is also good. As for the tongs, if Koreans call them ramen tongs, maybe they know, these are surprisingly good tongs for grilling meat. Yakiniku shops usually cut meat into two-bite sizes, and these are good for picking up meat of this size. I think I will use them when grilling meat at home.

Entered with a reservation. It wasn't a private room, but a partitioned table. The top harami and karubi were tender and delicious. The service was very good.
