My family was passing by before opening time and looked at the menu when the proprietor saw us and invited us in. This invitation felt less like they wanted customers and more like they wanted us to feel welcome, which we did via their patient and friendly communication with my wife’s limited Japanese. The food was wonderful; sizzling hot Bibim-bap, perfectly spiced (for our moderately heat tolerant pallets) kimchi soup. Prices were very reasonable and we left only with the regret that we wouldn’t have time to go again. Not a fancy place, but very homey and comfortable.
View on GoogleI came to your restaurant yesterday when it was still open (google maps hours + the door was literally open) the place was empty though. I said "hello" in 3 languages and I was completely ignored. I walked in your view and asked "are you still open?" - ignored. Face glued to the phone screen. I was invisble. I can't decide which one you are - lazy or racist?

View on GoogleLunchtime one day. Actually, I was heading to another restaurant, but unfortunately it was closed. So I went to this nearby place I hadn't tried yet. The interior feels well-worn, with 7 round stainless-steel tables fitted with gas burners. Exactly the image of a samgyeopsal specialty restaurant in Korea. At lunch, there are 12 options including jjigae, gukbap, and bibimbap, and samgyeopsal is also available. 🟩Sundae gukbap (1,000 yen incl. tax) Sundae is a sausage that's popular in Korea. It's made with blood, glass noodles, glutinous rice, and so on, and has a distinctive flavor. The sundae gukbap here also includes glass noodles and offal. It's pretty tasty. 4 kinds of banchan (side dishes), kimchi refills available. 🟨Corn tea A Korean staple. The omoni who owns the place runs it alone, so service is slow.
