It was a beautiful noon! I was prepared to wait in line, but I was able to get in easily. It was a little after 12:00! I was so relieved to get in, when I heard the sound of bells! I'm glad to hear this. We took off our shoes and were shown to a tatami room. The menu recommended Toku beef hot pot, rice, and beer! Beautiful meat appeared! Simmer it and eat it with a beaten egg! Happiness! Rice Rice is delicious The sauce is perfect and we had it all, thank you for the meal The atmosphere is great! There is also upstairs seating and table seating. Looks like it could fit a group as well! I'd add more if I wanted to, but I'm a foodie, so I'll hold off! One thing to note: cash only!
View on GoogleExpensive, the waiter is very rude. If you are foreigners u will be bring to a room that is much smaller then where local seated. The waiter is so rude and will not willing to serve you. The food is expensive cost almost 5500 yen and I came out still hungry.
View on GoogleIt was such a great lunch experience with outstanding Japanese beef quality. Each set was around $3100 yen with options for upgrading to their premium beef. The restaurant has a long history of over 130 years. The food was great, it comes with beef, raw egg, tofu, leek and some greens. If you want miso soup and rice, you will have to pay extra. The service was average I would say just because they seem to hurry the customers up. Great value for money !
View on GoogleIt is so far the worst sukiyaki experience I’ve ever had. Not many people in the shop when I was there. When my partner and I just went up and wanted to sit down, the waitress already asked us to order set A or set B without explaining the differences. When the food arrived, no one explained how and who would cook the food. They just left. We somehow screwed up the food as the soy sauce was burnt…. The quality of the beef is 9/10 but the sauce is way too salty without any balanced taste…. Very disappointing. But it is ok because we did not queue at all.
View on GoogleVisited Sat lunch a little past opening, was told it'd be an hour wait but ended up being less than 30 min wait. Meat and service top quality for the price. Rice and the overall plating, table setting could be better, but the generous portion and flavor of the meat made up for it. The building and neighborhood adds historic charm to the dining experience. They have English menu and seemed very used to serving foreign customers. Expect to take off your shoes at entry and pay in cash.
