Simple shop. No frills, one item on the menu. you sit down and wait to get served. Not much communication so make sure you don’t have allergies to tuna or seasame sauce. Tasty and affordable lunch.

Very nice maguro chazuke lunch, and costs only 1000yen. There’s only 10 seats in the restaurant tho, so probably not suitable for big group.

It takes a bit of courage to enter the shop, but once inside, it's a small space with a quiet owner. I arrived just after 12:30, but luckily I got in without waiting. The tuna mixed with spicy sesame sauce, the sweet vinegar pickles, and the fragrant soup were exquisite—so good that my vision actually blurred. The hojicha tea for the ochazuke also plays a great role. This is a highly recommended shop. I will definitely visit again.

A shop located very close to Yushima Station that is basically only open for lunch. It's a small place with 3 counter seats and 3 tables, run by an elderly owner by himself. The menu is only tuna chazuke. Rice, tuna (marinated in sesame sauce), soup, sweet vinegar pickles, and hojicha tea for chazuke for 1,000 yen—the value for money is amazing. The tuna mixed with sesame sauce, seaweed, and wasabi is delicious with rice, and even better as chazuke. It's very satisfying for lunch. The owner looks quite elderly, but this is a legendary shop that I hope stays open for a long time.

It was delicious. It was so delicious that I left my bag behind when I left the shop. I realized it after walking about 100 meters and hurried back. Thank you to the owner and the other customers for welcoming me warmly.
