A soy sauce ramen specialty shop run by "Ōtaka Shōyu," a long-established soy sauce brewery founded in 1804 with more than 200 years of history. At Fuji Toraya Asakusa, we use double-brewed soy sauce made with traditional methods handed down since the Edo period, so you can enjoy the true aroma, umami, and depth of soy sauce in a single bowl of ramen. Starting with our signature "Fujitora Kuro," we offer ramen that brings out the individuality of different soy sauces, such as "Shiro" and "Aka." Rice bowls made with a soy-sauce-based tare are also popular. A ramen shop made in earnest by a soy sauce brewer, where you can casually drop in while sightseeing in Asakusa, for lunch, or on your way home from work. Great ramen, you can order and pay via machine with English menu. Energetic staff and minimal and clean place. White ramen is less salty and seem easier to like for foreigners but they're both great!

I got the 富士虎黑, 醤油ラーメン. It has a slice of chashu, a whole ajitamago, menma, onions, and cilantro. The noodles got good Q, the soy sauced based broth was flavorful. This place is barely 2 months old. It's clean and the ticketing machine is modern. The servers were all polite.

Luckily for stopping at the front of this restaurant. It’s just opened for a week with non-stop customers. The ramen as attached photo, is really so good taste, well-cooked noodles, juicy pork belly and umami soup. The recommended for Gyoza menu is dipping with sauce and putting a bit of sesame oil (making a good sense) and chili flake—totally bravo. You should try!! The chef and staff are really friendly which makes good atmosphere for me — enjoy eating so much.

This is the best ramen experience I have had in a while. The friendly staff welcomed me and helped me decide and place the order on the machine. I had the "white" soup, with an extra chashu, and the egg was so good I just had to order a second one right away. I liked the thin noodles, the fresh mizuna and other vegetables, and the bamboo was very tender and tasty. An important little detail for foreign visitors: they have high-quality chopsticks with a special shape at the tip that makes it super easy to catch the noodles without them slipping. I highly recommend to make a little detour when visiting Asakusa shrine, to enjoy this delicious ramen!

Seriously delicious Ramen at a reasonable price. Set meal with rice bowl that has port is 1600¥ and ramen itself is about 1090¥. They have an English menu and you order on a kiosk machine and can pay with credit card. The staff is helpful and enthusiastic to see you! The place is bright and modern and clean.
