This experience is such great fun! We kept seeing the food around Japan and seeing that we could make our own seemed very fitting! The staff were lovely, the food fun to make and instructions very clear. We have special bags to take them home in too so they’re protected. Such a good memory of our travels - thank you!
View on GoogleThis is an excellent activity for adults and children alike! There are several food options available and they range from easy to challenging. The staff will help translate instructions into English and they go step by step. It's easy to follow along and they have your practice some of the challenging parts before you do it! Some of the models, like the parfait, will require two days to fully harden. You can leave with it, but be careful with it. Others are able to be set faster so there's less chance of bumping it (the crepe and the omelette as an example). While you wait for the setting they serve you a beverage.
View on GoogleMaking food samples for the first time! It was a fun and interesting experience, the staff were all very patient and encouraging while guiding us. They tried explaining in English too despite the language barrier. It was easy to follow along the instructions given. In the end, they replicate your design and prepare a real plate for you along with a chosen beverage for you to enjoy, food tasted great too! Lovely activity.
View on GoogleKai was an awesome instructor and I can’t believe how good our food turned out. We are not crafty at all but he talked us through it and was super nice.
View on GoogleThe whole experience was amazing! My friend and I wanted to try making fake food and we came across this shop. There was a seating area that allowed us to sit comfortably while we waited. The staff were all super helpful, we were here during the low season so there weren’t any tourists, and a staff was assigned just to teach us in simple English. The instructions were very clear and help was given so that we could create beautiful final products. It’s very beginner-friendly as some difficult parts were already made, but you can do fun stuff like squeezing “ketchup” on your omurice. We definitely recommend this place for any tourist looking for a unique experience in Japan.
