Really delicious food! Went for around 10:30 and it was already pretty busy, but we managed to get a table straight away. It just goes to show it is worth eating here just from this. We tried the egg sandwich, egg carbonara, the tiramisu and the cheesecake that looked like an egg. They were all sooooo good! Our favourite was egg sandwich, it was very soft and fluffy (the eggs and the bread) The staff were helpful and also were easy to speak to in English (I’m a tourist) Definitely worth eating here :) Thank you very much 🍳
View on GoogleI’ve been here many times over the years and I cannot believe I haven’t reviewed this place!!! I love their food! You really cannot go wrong with any of their options. Just note that the French toast is available after 2pm though. If they have free tables, you secure a seat first by placing down an item (like your umbrella or pack of tissues), then place your order. You get your drink immediately with a number on a little stand that you take back to your seat. Your food will be sent to you. Today, the day I am reviewing this, is July 20th which is a public holiday called Marine Day. I arrived at 1:15 but there was a line. It was a 30 minute wait. There weee other days I walked in and got a seat easily. Those days were days I had non-peak meal times.
View on GoogleThe breakfast was delicious. We had the tiramisu, egg sandwich, egg pudding, and egg bacon toast. The fries were nice and crispy as well. We arrived at 1020 and waited about 30 minutes to get in, and then another 10 minutes inside to order. Just because of the muggy weather, I would try to come back when there is no line up. It's also vegetarian friendly. The menu clearly says you can opt out of bacon which is good to call out since some restaurants are more rigid even though they profit more from a baconless sandwich.
View on GoogleThe egg sandwich at Egg Baby Cafe is a delight: silky soft-boiled eggs with bacon and mayo in pillowy shokupan, served with crispy fries and salad for ¥1,000. Rich, satisfying, and perfectly balanced. Finish with their signature Egg Baby Pudding (¥500) — a smooth, firm Showa-style custard with rich egg flavor and bitter caramel sauce. A must-try dessert! Cozy spot, worth the queue. Highly recommended for egg lovers.
View on GoogleEgg sandwich was delicious. One of the better ones I’ve had at a restaurant (outside of the konbini ones lol). Customer service was great. Getting seated was a little confusing. There was a long line outside (people just standing around on their phones) but there were open seats inside which you can see through the windows. Went inside with the intent to order take out but there’s a sign in there that says to grab a seat before ordering so really you can just walk in if you see an open seats inside. I didn’t see any worker moving the outside line along to seat themselves. Aside from the seating confusion definitely a place worth checking out.
