This was when I visited before: there were lots of women, and I could faintly see a few men's silhouettes behind the one-way mirror, but overall nobody seemed to be talking, which felt strange. I told the man who picked me, 'You can talk as much as you want, so why not request a chat~?' He said, 'Because the staff give you dirty looks.' Nothing starts without talking, so why are they reluctant to allow chat requests? I don't know much about it, so I may be wrong, but once men pay, there's no time limit, right? I don't see the point of keeping them around without letting them talk. Wouldn't it be more profitable if even a few reached an agreement and went out together? The women would enjoy it too, and I don't think preventing conversation benefits either men or women.

The stairs are steep, so watch your step on rainy days. It's in a busy entertainment district with lots of foot traffic and can also be used to pass the time. I noticed several inconsiderate male customers breaking their promises when going out together, saying or doing things that differed from what had been agreed during negotiations in the talk room. I'd add that this is simply a place offering opportunities to have fun while keeping costs down, certainly not a place where you can get lucky without spending a penny. 2023 update: Compared with other places, the piped music in the talk rooms is extremely quiet, sometimes letting you hear every word of conversations between users in other talk rooms…. Minus 1 star for not respecting customers' privacy. Men who can only speak loudly, please give up on going out with women.

I went undercover with a friend for research. Under the outward pretext of being nothing more than an internet cafe, they make you pay 4000円 for a membership card. Inside are one-way-mirror display windows arranged like a pet shop. Girls' self-introductions are on the walls. Some include unacceptable statements like being 19才 and liking alcohol. If an attendance magnet is attached, it means they're lined up inside the window. Even if they're doing this voluntarily, isn't it inhumane and a violation of the human rights of immature minors? With various thoughts running through my head, I went ahead with an interview. Take a magnet and hand it to a staff member, and you're shown to a small numbered private room. Here, you state what you want to do with the woman, such as prostitution (apparently called warikiri) or dining, and the amount, then negotiate. From there, the woman determines the amount at her discretion, and you leave the premises together. 'Meeting' is the wrong Japanese word to use,,,. Government authorities, you must already know,,, please raid it soon. I suppose it's ultimately a game of cat and mouse. If you leave with a woman, they make you pay the establishment 2000円. Since it was an interview, I invited her for a meal; she asked for one hour,,, tens of thousands of yen, and I paid without arguing. I'll refrain from posting what followed because it could identify that individual,,,. In the West, this would be so utterly immoral that it wouldn't be surprising if it were attacked. I question the basic intelligence of anyone who uses a place like this.

I think this is a prostitution brokerage. They probably avoid raids by blasting music so they can pretend not to hear the parties' negotiations, and because they pay taxes. The bottom 50% of Japanese men can experience the illusion of having picked someone up for a small amount of money. From the women's area, you could faintly see oddly greasy men or, conversely, men who looked as if something had been drained out of them. Women don't earn money just by staying there, nor from repeatedly talking to unpopular men, so I thought its only use was somewhere to occasionally rely on when you can't access the internet. I spoke with one man here, who said, '(About the men staying here) Those guys can't attract women.' When I replied, 'If you're coming to a place like this, you're birds of a feather,' he became furious. Men who 'put others down but can't stay calm,' and therefore can't attract women: it is useful for analyzing men who can't attract women, but is that necessary in life? No, it isn't.
