Dandelion was one of my must-visit spots while in Tokyo, and it absolutely delivered. Perfect place to get your chocolate fix, especially on a cold winter morning. I had the Kuramae hot chocolate and it was just perfect—rich, comforting, and not overly sweet. Paired it with their s’more, which was so yummy and made the whole experience even better. The entire shop is a dream for chocolate lovers. They produce their chocolate in-house using beans sourced from all over the world, and I loved how they share information about the process from A to Z, it makes you appreciate every sip and bite even more. The ambience is cozy and homey, a place you’ll want to linger in. The top floor fills up quite quickly though, so coming early is a good idea if you want a seat. I personally loved the long glass table overlooking the kitchen below, such a smart and thoughtful design detail. Very well recommended if you’re in Tokyo, especially for fellow chocolate lovers 🤎
View on GoogleIt's a good place to stop for chocolate and chocolate desserts, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the chocolate. The staff are very kind and I had a pleasant experience overall, though. It's got a beautiful atmosphere and the upstairs dining area is cozy and ambient. I tried the Honduras bar and the Belize bar. The Honduras bar is very one-note; it's described as having a flavor of praline, herbal tea, and cream cheese. However, I get very little subtlety in the flavoring whether it's chewed or slowly melted on the tongue; mostly just bitter and flat. However, I liked the Belize bar. While it's not a complex flavor either, the honey and light cream comes through (not too sure on the muscat). It's creamier and softer, a much more enjoyable experience :) One thing I will say is the snap and temper on the chocolate is perfect. It's about 1600¥per bar (~$10) I also liked the s'more dessert (800¥), but I wouldn't order it again. The marshmallow isn't too sweet, which is nice. I'd be interested in trying their bars sourced from other locations.
View on GoogleHigh quality chocolate found here. The brownie is a must try! Love the home made hot chocolate too. Coffee was regular. The vibes of the 2nd floor was great for a relaxing afternoon. I suggest anything chocolate-related in this shop.
View on GooglePrice up after 11 months post from previous review. Store located next to 精華公園. Store like Starbucks reserve. You can see staff picks up coco beans. One cup of drink cost 980 yen take away tax 8%, dine in 10%. We ordered Kuramae hot chocolate flavored with hojicha tea good, and mission hot chocolate with mild spicy flavor unique taste. Good thing they have free WiFi available 🛜
View on GoogleGreat Cafe! The smell of rich cocoa slaps you hard across the face when you walk-in. They then greet you with the customary greeting but I couldn't concentrate; Chocolate was calling me! Rich, delicate, creamy, sweet, unsweetened, dark, light, somewhere in the middle cocoa aroma dancing in the air. My boy mad though because he couldnt swap the rasberry for the mascapone but he doesn't know there are no substitutions in Japan. Also check out this Tokyo Tower
