Casual venue with a sprawling lunch buffet, plus all-you-can-eat sushi & shabu shabu in the evening.

The buffet restaurant 『大地の贈り物』, located on the 4th floor of the Suzunoya Building opposite Ueno Matsuzakaya, has now been renewed as 『贅沢御膳 大地の贈り物』. We are changing from buffet-style dining to gozen set meals made with seasonal ingredients, with particular care given to rice and miso from regions throughout Japan. We also offer a dessert buffet for an additional charge and look forward to welcoming you. For guests celebrating birthdays or other occasions, we prepare a special dessert. Reservations are required, so please call us by the day before. From girls' gatherings and lunches with fellow moms to workplace drinking partie…

Excellent buffet. The buffet area does not take up much room, but it is filled with a broad range of delicious specialties. Restaurant is able to accommodate large groups. Inside a building. Lovely decor, cute "barrel" family seating. Cool plates with separators built in so you may try many different things.

Excellent restaurant! Went on the weekend after the lunch rush, so it was quite quiet and empty. The food was delicious too.

There is little variety. Mainly fried foods, with no meat dishes. The xiaolongbao were dry and definitely not delicious. For those who are not familiar with Japanese food, this is not the true food. Most of the dishes are frozen food heated up or steamed up. So they taste bad. The best food was the coffee and softcream from the machine. Also, I was very disappointed with the service and attitude of waiters. It's the same food from weekday and weekend, but the price is higher on the weekend. Even though I made a reservation for weekday price, just before we check out, they are trying to charge the 50% up price. Smart way to cheat the customers. I didn't want to give any stars, but without it, I won't be able to grade the restaurant. I know much better economical restaurant much less than the price they charge here, and I can get full with much happier satisfaction. This is NOT the buffet worth to try. watch out, guys!

I like small quantity food items of many choices - that’s what I love most in this buffet. Staff are very attentive.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to here in Tokyo. It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth every single yen spent.
