翠雲Cuiyun
Serving authentic modern Sichuan cuisine from China! Supported by Chinese people living in Japan, especially women and young people are visiting. The dishes made by the head chef with over 30 years of experience in this path, needless to say about the taste and quality of spiciness, but also produces excitement when brought. "Gongfu Shui Zhu Yu" with boiling red oil, "15-second Shui Zhu Niu Rou" where palm-sized beef is cut in front of your eyes, "Cuiyun Soy Sauce Fried Rice" wrapped in flames, "Stir-fried Chicken with Chili" that is colorful, etc., stimulate the appetite even from the visual!

The restaurant is known for sichuan food but most of cuisine is not spicy. It was not authentic sichuan style. I ordered -fried rice : salty -mapa tofu : not enough mala and salty -hot and sour soup : just mild soup -fried shrimp : outside was hot but inside was cold shrimp Very much disappointed. Not worthy to try if you are visiting Tokyo for short time.

View on GoogleThe soy sauce fried rice and dan dan noodle combo at lunch was straight-up fire and super bang for your buck! The Sichuan boiled fish was kinda spicy, but the meat was crazy tender. My fave? The garlic pork slices—so bouncy and juicy, and the sweet-spicy sauce was next level! Heads up, though, the flavors are on the salty side overall.
View on GoogleThe staff was quite friendly and the food was also good. I think some things didn't exactly have the same flavor I hoped for (such as the 宜賓燃麵) but overall I wasn't disappointed either. If you're in the area, it's a good option whether with international friends or locals.
View on GoogleAmazing authentic Sichuan place that smelled heavenly, less than 20 dollars for such generous portions; everyone only spoke Chinese so you know it’s the real deal; service was okay but the 16-second beef flavor made up for it tenfold!
