Such a fun and cute spot! The service is very good and the coffee was delicious. I was wildly enthousiastic about the book/menu full of drawings. The menu consists of (ofcourse) all the food and drinks, but also many pages about the neighborhood, the Japanese culture, Tokyo, the trafic, all including personal details and drawings. You could feel that the owners put a lot of work and effort into the cafe.

I hadn’t noticed this place near the hotel for a long time, but it turned out to be really lovely. They put genuine care into preparing and serving every dish. The coffee foam had beautiful, intricate designs on it. The menu itself is incredibly well-made and thoughtful—it’s all hand-drawn. It even includes illustrations and information about different places in Japan. It’s hard to imagine how much effort went into creating such a menu.

The owner is such a sweet lady, the handwritten menu is adorable and so is the latte art! She accommodated us when we were on the way to the airport and had multiple large suitcases, even though we were going to just stay outside. 10/10 recommend to anyone in the area. The tiramisu is also the best I’ve ever had. 😋

A very friendly couple runs this cute cafe with delicious coffee! We tried all the specialty coffee places in Asakusa and this was by far the best!!! They also handmake these delicious cute cookies!!

We're so happy we decided to enter Cafe Reise. Such a lovely atmosphere. The interior, the handwritten menu and informations about the area, the food, the drinks, the service. Everything was perfect. We got blend coffee, coffee cherry tea and BLT sandwiches. We even got a small dessert on the house afterwards which made our decision even easier to buy some more cookies to go. Highly recommended!
