Nice modern kissaten with good coffee and what looked like excellent food and no smoking. I'd come here often if I lived or worked close by.
View on GoogleVery cute and cozy café near our hotel! A bit over 100m walk if I remember correctly (went in May, so memory is foggy). Came with my mother and a friend. You are given iced water when you sit. I only had the iced coffee and toast with strawberry jam. LOVE the bread they have, very thick slices, and the iced coffee was good, too! My friend ordered the cheese toast and loved it as well! My mother ordered hot coffee and the milk came in these cute, tiny tin pitchers. Menu is in Japanese only, but luckily my friend could read!
View on GoogleI've been several times, but the service is really bad. They're unfriendly and speak coldly, which I find disappointing. (For example, they turn customers away harshly when the place is full, respond with a bad attitude when you ask to order, or reprimand people unpleasantly for laughing and chatting…) The food sells out early. The omurice is often sold out by 12, and the white rice also runs out early, so you can't have curry and similar dishes unless you go early. The omurice deserves its popularity and is delicious, so I recommend it. The bolognese omurice is tasty. The omurice portions are also quite large and left me full. I've also tried the Japanese-style pilaf and Japanese-style pasta, but they're a little salty. If you're okay with salty food, I think you'll find them tasty. The beef pilaf is good too.
View on GoogleThey're only open on weekdays, so I went on Friday!! I had the winter-only baked napolitan! I'd wanted to visit ever since it was featured on Zun Kissaten, so I was happy to try it 😊 It was really delicious! It was piping hot, with peppery napolitan topped with melted cheese and an egg, and I was very satisfied♡ The coffee after the meal was really delicious too. I'm so glad I found this place!!
View on GoogleVisited before noon on a weekday. I ordered the regular omurice. The egg was delicious, but the ketchup rice had a strong flavor (too much pepper?) and wasn't to my taste. There was an omurice topped with white cheese sauce on the menu, and the flavor seemed like it would go well with that. Lunch is from 11:30 to 15:00, and lunch dishes can be made large for +100, or you can add tea or coffee for +200円. Apparently everything except taco rice comes with a mini salad. The salad is a simple one: shredded cabbage with orange dressing, topped with a cherry tomato. It's a little hard to eat with a fork, so disposable chopsticks would be nice. The interior was quiet and comfortable. Thank you for the meal.
