When traveling, I always choose a bistro for dinner. This time too, I looked for a good restaurant near the hotel where I was staying and made a reservation. As often happens at bistros, the owner does all the cooking alone, so the food comes out slowly. But it was worth the wait; everything was delicious. I figured the roast duck would definitely take time, so I ordered it right away with my drink. It arrived last, but it was incredibly delicious. All the other customers were regulars, which made me feel this is a well-loved restaurant.
View on GoogleAs someone who's really into bistros, my impression was that this was just a small step up from coffee-shop food. It really reminded me how much you can't tell from high ratings based on only a few reviews〜. Truly. I could certainly sense the care, but everything still felt amateurish, or maybe I chose the wrong dishes, I don't know. It felt like “this is coffee-shop food!” so if you go expecting a bistro, you'll find yourself going whoa, hold on🫠 🌟Looking at the reviews afterward, the roast duck looks delicious, so that might be a good thing to order! (Regret) (I wasn't sure what was recommended, so I asked the staff, but their stance was “we're confident in all our dishes.” I feel that pointing out and promoting a signature dish or their most popular item would help them receive a properly fair assessment.) Many of the customers were older, and it's the sort of place loved by the neighborhood, so I don't think it would appeal to younger people. The service really felt like a neighborhood coffee shop too, leaving me puzzled. The prices aren't cheap either; they're fairly substantial. It's loved by local people, and for some it may be an extremely comfortable place, but this is my straightforward review as a first-time visitor (me). Thank you for the meal🥣
View on GoogleA homestyle restaurant. The man who is also the cook doesn't cook quickly, but the food is very, very delicious! Even a simple salad is finger-licking good!
View on GoogleThis is a restaurant where the owner loves cooking and carefully prepares each dish. Since he cooks alone, the food takes a little while.
View on GoogleThe prices are a little high for me, but the food is very carefully prepared and delicious. It's a shame they allow smoking when the food is so good.
