Bird Song provided a much-needed break after a tiring day exploring Ueno Park and the zoo. The cornballs were a highlight, and the Bamboo Leaf Panda Bento was both charming and delicious. They have a great open-air seating area that’s perfect for a cool day, though I’m not sure how comfortable it would be in the summer heat.

View on GoogleInexpensive cafeteria food, good service.
View on GoogleShop inside Ueno Zoo. There are snacks, lunch boxes, curry, churros, shaved ice, etc. What I bought is ・Melon shaved ice ¥350 ・Iced coffee ¥320 I think this price is reasonable. The panda is gone (sad), but the panda-patterned cup is cute♡ A convenient rest spot. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleBird Song (take-out cafe inside Ueno Zoo) was a take-out specialty cafe that makes you want to stop and take a deep breath. Even though it is in the busy traffic line of the zoo, the moment you receive the cup, the sense of time slows down a little. Coffee drunk while walking is strangely delicious, and calms the feelings that were excited after seeing the exhibits. If you sit on a bench and take a sip, the wind, the swaying of the trees, and even the presence in the distance naturally enter your consciousness, and it becomes a time that is more than just "take-out". Precisely because it is not a place to sit and stay for a long time, this cup remains in memory as if cutting out this moment. An existence that resets emotions once in a busy zoo. I think it is a take-out cafe that makes the heart lighter before the body tired of walking.
