We almost went to another popular gyukatsu spot but the line was way too long!! Luckily my boo found this spot and OMG it was the best l!! I have had gyukatsu before but this place takes the cake!! We noticed that it was all locals and the turnover was quick. Price was amazing for the amount and quality. This was truly the best final meal for us. I would love to come back here!!! I ordered the marbled beef 200g and it was the best decision as I did not want the meal to end.

I am very impressed with Beef Cutlet AONA Okachimachi Main Store. This is my second visit — the first time was two years ago — and the quality remains just as excellent as I remember. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and care for customers are outstanding. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming to international tourists, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends. If you are still hesitating, don’t be — you will be impressed.

Funny thing is we were looking to eat ramen and decided not to go with our first choice. After a quick google I navigated to a 4.8 venue that is actually on top of this one, but I had no clue until writing this review that we eventually never got to the one I googled for. But I saw Wagyu here and the only thing left for me to do was convince my girlfriend to eat here. I got the 150g Wagyu(marbled beef) cutlet set and my girlfriend ended up getting the stew. We were just enjoying this meal until the last bite as we shared some portion to one another we were very pleased to have been welcomed here. Very friendly staff and promised to review! In the meantime we already shared this location to both our friends who will be visiting later this year. Enough seating available and payable with card, cash, etc

Gyukatsu Aona (Okachimachi Main Store) in Ueno serves incredible beef cutlets that are perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining juicy and medium-rare inside.They offer various beef grades for any budget, ranging from standard imported beef to premium Kuroge Wagyu and highly marbled A5 Shimofuri beef.

Their recommended beef cutlet is delicious. The beef is very tender. The breading gives it a nice crispy texture that blends well with the tender beef. The wasabi and garlic sauce are my favorites to go with it. I went with the 200g size which is roughly 7oz. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They also offer an English menu and take card.
