I had been waking up at 5:30 every morning for an entire week, so today was no exception. Unfortunately—or perhaps inevitably—my body has already adapted to this rhythm, and I found myself awake early once again. Even without an alarm, my eyes opened to the quiet stillness of the morning, as if my internal clock had taken full control. There is something special about these early hours. The streets are calm, the air feels fresher, and everything seems to move at a slower, more deliberate pace. It’s a kind of peacefulness that you rarely notice during the busy hours of the day. Despite the lingering fatigue from a long and demanding week, I decided to make the most of this quiet time. At 9 a.m., I stopped by an osteopathic clinic. My body had been carrying the weight of the past few days—early mornings, constant movement, and accumulated stress. The treatment helped release some of that tension. As the stiffness gradually faded, I could feel my body loosening, almost as if each muscle was being gently reset. After that, I came here for breakfast. It felt like the perfect continuation of the morning—a simple but comforting meal in a calm environment. Sitting down with warm food in front of me, I finally allowed myself to slow down. The combination of physical relief from the treatment and the quiet satisfaction of a good meal created a deep sense of relaxation. It wasn’t just surface-level comfort; it felt as though even my cells were unwinding, recovering from the exhaustion of the past week. Moments like this remind me how important it is to pause, to take care of both body and mind, and to appreciate the small, quiet parts of everyday life. Sometimes, even a tired morning can turn into something unexpectedly restorative. Today was one of those days. Thank you very much.
View on GoogleWe seem to come across this café chain quite often in Tokyo, so we decided to give it a try. The ingredients used were fresh, but honestly, the coffee and cake were nothing particularly special in terms of taste. That said, it’s still a nice spot to relax and unwind after a full day of shopping.
View on GoogleConvenient location outside station and Uniqlo, really nice relaxing place to sit down and have coffee, savoury pastry or sandwich or a cake. I ordered through a machine - there is an English option - just be mindful there’s no contactless payment.
View on GoogleAfter walking all day we sat down to enjoy a hot drink and a sweet treat purchased from a corner bakery with no seating area. Becks makes you order your own food and pay in an automated service. It was very disappointed to sit and start drinking our coffees and eating our baked goods only to be told we couldn't consume our baked goods with the coffee we had purchased at Becks. A very rude service worker made us put our baked goods away. In a country where they frown upon eating as you walk, we were surprised at the lack of flexibility. The baked goods came from Cozy Corner right next door. They have no seating area. Shame on the worker in Beck's for not showing kindness to a tired foreigner.
View on GoogleThis is a GREAT spot for a little pause, the staff is extremely kind and efficient!! (They need a raise) The food and drinks very good and it’s a very quite coffee in this area. I recommend 100%
