When I arrived, this place was completely empty. There wasn't a single customer and I didn't even see the chef, so I was a little worried it may be closed, but apparently not. Another customer arrived shortly after me, but it was still a little unusually empty for a ramen restaurant in this otherwise busy area of Tokyo. I wouldn't expect the staff to speak English, so no surprise there. You order using the vending machine in front, and upon entering, you may need to choose the style (for the lack of a better word), but it's not that difficult even if you don't speak English. Just point at the option that says 普通 or say "futsuu", and you'll be fine. The service is pretty basic, but it is at least fast, and the slightly concerning atmosphere is balanced out by the very decent quality of the food. I have nothing bad to say about the broth or the noodles, and there were sufficient toppings for my taste as well.

Food was amazing. Staff don't really speak English, but hey, you're in Japan, so best way to learn and practise Japanese. Order via vending machine, but again, you have to have to basic knowledge of Japanese / use guess work. But man is the food worth it!!!

The food was soooo good. The man here was very respectful and pleasant.

Since eating ramen at this place I just can’t get it out of my head lol
