For my first kaiseki experience at Asakusa Mugitoro Main Branch, I was really impressed by how thoughtfully each course was presented. The meal felt refined and distinctive from start to finish, and it made for a memorable evening in Tokyo. Even with a special dining style like this, the staff were accommodating, which helped make the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. I’d happily come back.
View on GoogleI ordered the Mugitoro set menu. The portion size is not very big, but it comes as a complete set with rice. The overall taste is quite mild, but still enjoyable. My favorite part was the three types of fried potatoes, they were really tasty. The small shrimp tempura was also crispy and delicious. Eating them together with the rice helped enhance the overall flavor of the meal.

View on GoogleKaiseki restaurant specialized in barley mixed rice. Everything was delicate and well presented. We ordered the eel set and the green tee soba noodles too, one of us ordered a child menu thinking it was a tempura set. We had a good laugh while asking for the bill: we were told a scoop of ice cream was included in the menu !
