I really enjoyed these croquettes. We had the minced pork and the mochi mentaiko montija. The lady was friendly and I enjoyed eating them with an asahi on a stool in the street. The pork one was dressed in what I think was a light vinegar, which cut through the grease nicely.
View on GoogleMAR 2024 Had the plain monjya croquette which was deep fried to order. It was crispy outside and inside was creamy with some soft yakisoba, tasted savory with bits of sweet vinegary red ginger. It was piping hot and tasty.
View on GoogleMost croquette stalls near the main area is overcrowded and we were super pleased to discover this little hole in the wall! What a brilliant snack! Pork croquette was nice and juicy! Highly recommended!
View on GoogleI dug into my deep fried pork filet before I remembered to take a photo..it had a deliciously light and crispy coating, and I wolfed it down when our juicy chicken skillets came. My dad fell in love with the shredded cabbage (which he'd previously hated). Wonderful dinner.
