Pretty good japanese dessert place. I got the ice cream anmitsu and it was perfect for a hot day

A very nice Japanese dessert shop with bamboo interior decor. Great for after meal treat to Japanese style dessert with macha or honey. It is not too sweet, service staff is also attentive. Nice relaxing ambience to enjoy the desserts.

The shop exterior caught my attention as I was making my way to Sensō-ji. Glad that I made my way back to this little oasis. A nice little shop to relax and have traditional Japanese dessert after squeezing my way in and out of a very crowded Sensō-ji The interior has very nice Zen ambience surrounded by (fake) bamboos and traditional Japanese music playing in the background.

Japanese traditional desserts served at Asakusa Izumi are so so so delicious! I had dango anmitsu and apricot mamekan. So many items in the bowl! It’s really hard work to get each item so tasty! Every item was delicious and has unique texture and taste. The apricots especially blew me away.

Anmitsu and matcha tea were very nice. Interior was very pretty. Lovely place to try some traditional Japanese desserts.
