Tried the 角煮ぶたみそラーメンSP kakuni buta miso ramen SP. It was pretty good. The curly yellow noodles with gingerly garlicky miso broth is a great combination. Kakuni is always delicious in Japan. The pork to me was a little sweet but I could be wrong. Can add even more garlic and crush it yourself as a condiment. Overall a nice bowl of ramen.

I was craving ramen and stopped at this restaurant on the main road leading to Ameyoko. The restaurant has two floors, with tables and seats upstairs. I quite enjoyed the ramen, and the meat wasn't bad either. I have to give it three stars because I found the manager's attitude toward the staff harsh and unhelpful. The restaurant was crowded, and the employees were working very hard. His yelling in front of the customers certainly didn't help them work better, nor did it help us, the customers, feel comfortable. He was a pretty awful person.

As a foreigner it can be intimidating to go into a Japanese restaurant. That is not the case here. The staff made every effort to make me feel welcome. They were also open late which is incredibly helpful. The food is unbelievably good. Everything was just great. Beer and ramen in Ueno. It doesn't get better than this. Wonderful Thank you!

Do not walk past this resturant! Order and enjoy 😊 Amazing Miso, made right in Front of your eyes, very generous serve sizes and tastes amazing. Added bonus the chef/ owner speaks very good English and made us feel very welcome. My pick… miso butter corn 👌🏻

Had the hokkaido miso butter corn - huge and with tons of crunch corn, cabbage and beansprouts, and with a TON of meat. Served super quickly. It was a bit salty for me towards the end, but adding chili powder helps. Everyone else here was also just here to quickly have dinner, so the turnover was good and the atmosphere was comfortable.
