I dropped by ALEGRIA Ueno when I was craving churrasco in Ueno. It’s conveniently located near Ueno-Okachimachi / Ueno-Hirokoji, and even though it’s in a busy area, the atmosphere inside feels relaxed and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the pace of service was great. The churrasco style is the highlight: skewers of meat are brought to your table and carved right in front of you, so you can try a variety of cuts without getting bored. The beef had a nice smoky char on the outside while staying juicy inside, and the fattier cuts were especially satisfying with their rich flavor. I also enjoyed the sides—having things like sausage and a warm baked dish in between made the whole meal feel well-balanced. The grilled pineapple was a perfect palate cleanser: sweet, slightly tangy, and surprisingly addictive. Overall, it was a fun, filling experience that’s ideal for a hearty dinner with friends or a special night out. I’d definitely come back when I want to eat a lot and enjoy a lively churrasco vibe.

My favourite buffet for meat in Tokyo. Meat just keeps coming with amazing quality and the best cooking point ever. Course also comes with salad and curry rice. Aside from the meat they also bring cheese, vegetables, baked pinapple amd several other dishes. Drinks aside. Top value restaurant for the price. Would definetely come back.

We celebrated our wedding with our family in this restaurant. The food and the servers were lovely. They also complied with my request to have the meat well done because I am pregnant and can’t eat anything raw.
