Both the dashi and soba are excellent! No wonder this place is popular! The kamo tsukune seiro (560円) has an incredibly delicious combination of duck meatballs, dashi, and soba! The old-fashioned atmosphere is nice too. They close when the soba runs out, so the opening hours aren't very reliable. Keep that in mind.
View on GoogleI feel the rating will differ depending on which perspective you lean toward. That morning, I noticed a mistake that would have a major impact on the day's work. I did everything I could at that point, leaving nothing else I could do. Since I felt I might not be able to eat lunch, I decided to get some food first. I think this place is very difficult to rate because it depends on the angle you're looking from. The soba I had certainly had a strong buckwheat flavor. In terms of the soba itself, it clearly stands above stand-up soba chains. However, when viewed as a soba restaurant, I feel the assessment changes. Honestly, since the soba was delicious, I thought I should have chosen a seiro-style dish. Thinking about lunch as well, I ended up ordering what seemed to have the most toppings this time. Still, it was delicious in its own way.
View on GoogleI had 100% buckwheat soba. A large serving was exactly 1000円. It was worth its price. The sobayu, though, was thick and delicious.
View on GoogleI was searching for delicious soba in Akihabara and found a page that strongly recommended this place, so I visited. I had the hiyakake Akiba soba, supposedly their signature dish, but it was a little disappointing. I already had a bad feeling when I noticed the sticky ticket machine and tables… First I bought a ticket. The staff member was working at the back of the kitchen, so I called out "Please" 2 times while presenting my ticket, but they ignored me even though they could clearly hear me.. The types and amounts of toppings on the soba that arrived were so different from the photo on the wall that I laughed. The wakame was also half-dry. Please see the photo. Expectations versus reality! I went around 14:30, just before lunch service ended, and it was enough to make me wonder if they'd run out of toppings. The noodles were firm and I thought they tasted good, but I wondered what proportion of buckwheat they contained. It's an inexpensive place, so perhaps I was wrong to go with expectations.
View on GoogleYou can eat carefully prepared, fresh soba at an astonishing price. It's also appreciated that they open early in the morning.
