Update: Upon further inspection it seems like Google Wallet had the information incorrect while the transaction on the official websites was accurate. That being said with everything considered in my experience (I also got sick here too), I wouldn't recommend staying here. My original review is still below: The whole point of an internet cafe is to be affordable right? ...how does that simple concept fail? 2,500 yen paid with card and the result was $24.08 USD which is approx 3,719 yen. There was no notice or disclaimer about foreign fees so I have no idea why this happens. I spoke with their staff afterwards asking if I would be able to get refunded and repay with cash and they said nothing could be done. This is what I get trying to cheap out. Do yourself a favor and reserve casples so you don't need to walk 3 hours around Tokyo for a room. I couldn't access the computer, ONE USB A port for charging and a mat. At least it was decently comfortable after a long day... The right end of it was crusty (???), the only positive thing I could say after all of this was the free drinks vending machine. That was literally it. I don't like monopoly or chains but I'll be going to those next time since those are at least guaranteed to have some level of quality.
View on GoogleGood compromise for a one night stay at a low-budget internet café. I stayed one night there. My private room was clean and cozy enough to sleep overnight. However, the sound insulation was not good enough, I could hear other customers speaking in their own room and people walking in the hallway next to me. + : friendly staff, flexible prices, room key available for free, 30 min shower included, possibility to go outside of the internet café at any time, etc. - : relatively poor sound insulation, limited drink options, limited movies/series options (mostly animes and Japanese TV shows, no netflix or similar platform), average cleanliness of the toilets, only one toilet per gender per floor, etc.
View on GoogleThis is a nice and quiet place for staying a short period of time. The room was clean and able to lay down to take a rest and place the luggages, though the air conditioning was a bit not enough. If the staff could speak simple English will be more better for the foreign tourists.
View on Google1) i don’t like that you have to pay before taking the service.. it’s japan.. things works correctly here… 2) very low sound volume, you can’t to see a movie or series with your couple… 3) less important but.. no snacks at all for free and no ice cream at all.. other places have much better service for the same price…
