Great Yokohama style ramen. Flavourful soup, not too heavy with thick noodles. Definitely satisfy any ramen cravings. Recommend their most popular one at ¥820, comes with slices of pork, egg, spinach and nori(seaweed) with it. Free all you can eat rice over midday.
View on GoogleRamen is very subjective, to me this was OK. The recommended (おすすめ) ramen was very very creamy, which is not my favorite. It almost tasted like there was milk inside. The ingredients were fine however. If you like creamy ramen, bump this score up a full star.
View on GoogleOne of my favorite ramen shops in Tokyo. Delicious!
View on GoogleStaff was very kind and their English was very good. I recommend the miso ramen.
View on GoogleA ramen shop a 1-minute walk onto 諏訪通り from the south exit of 立川駅. Ever since I casually dropped in during a break at work, I've been completely hooked. Inside are 12 counter seats, 2-person tables x1, and 4-person tables x2. At 11:50, 80% of the seats were already occupied—a pretty popular place! Buy a meal ticket from the machine immediately to the right as you enter, then hand it to the staff. When handing it over, specify the flavor, noodle firmness, amount of fat, and richness. This time I ordered 『壱七らーめん・大盛り』. Flavor⇒salt, noodles⇒firm, fat⇒extra, richness⇒strong. The classic super-rich combination, haha. The bowl arrived 3–4 minutes after ordering. As you can see in the photo, the broth is creamy and emulsified. Powerful tonkotsu richness, savory oil, and mellow saltiness. This guilty pleasure is irresistibly delicious, haha. The noodles are thick and straight, and relatively short. They're slightly low-hydration, and the moment you bite through them, the aroma of wheat flour wafts through your nose! The toppings are spinach and 3 sheets of nori. Dip the nori in the soup, then eat it with rice—so delicious о(ж>▽<)y ☆ The chashu seems low-temperature cooked like roast beef rather than grilled. An exquisite balance of bite and juiciness! This alone could have me eating loads of white rice... (๑º﹃º๑) drool The seasoned egg has a gentle flavor. The doneness is very much to my liking (≧∇≦) I think this is also delicious dipped in the soup! For an extra topping, 5 quail eggs. If you order the regular ramen, these quail eggs are the standard topping rather than a seasoned egg. These quail eggs go so well with the broth that it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say I got hooked on this place because they're so delicious. Incidentally, you can enjoy changing the flavor in all sorts of ways. From standards like pepper, garlic, vinegar, and sesame to unusual options like doubanjiang and gari. My personal recommendations are sesame, garlic, and gari! They add a surprising depth to the broth♪ There are also menu options for people who dislike the heaviness of 家系, and many women come alone, so I think it's a place a wide range of people can enjoy (^^)/~~~
