First visit. I'd been interested after seeing the menu at the entrance, but hadn't managed to stop by. That day, it looked like I could park, so I gave it a try. Inside, it was dim like an izakaya, and there were no other customers, but it was comfortable. I ordered the Sangen-ton pork fillet cutlet lunch set. It looked stylish, plated like something you'd get at a cafe. There were a full 5 fillet cutlets, and they were delicious. A pair of customers arrived later. They seemed to order seafood rice bowls. It's in an inconspicuous location, but it's inexpensive and the flavor is dependable, so I'd like to return.
View on GoogleThe owner is kind. The food is very delicious, but perhaps because of the season or location, it's quiet. I'd still like to try various things. Being able to discuss what I wanted to eat made for a happy time✨✨✨
View on GoogleI visited for lunch. The seafood rice bowl, limited to 5 customers, was generous, but the aging of the yellowtail and tuna was questionable. Maybe I'll order curry rice next time.
View on GoogleI became a real fan of this restaurant after casually stopping in for lunch the other day. I was so impressed by the inexpensive yet carefully prepared food that I've already returned. Honestly, the entrance has a bit of an atmosphere, and I needed a little courage, wondering, “Are first-timers welcome?” But once I took the plunge and went inside, it was an ordinary, calm izakaya. The quiet-looking owner seems to run it alone. When I entered, there were already some office workers who seemed to work nearby and several female customers, so I immediately realized it was a popular place among those in the know. That day I ordered the “chicken nanban set meal.” Being from Kyushu, I'm quite particular about chicken nanban, but what arrived didn't have the familiar brown coating. Instead, it had a whitish coating like tempura. “Oh, what's this going to be like?” I was intrigued. At the first bite, the coating crunched! It had a surprisingly light texture. Yet the meat inside was incredibly juicy, and the sweet-and-sour sauce had a sophisticated flavor that somehow reminded me of balsamic vinegar. It was completely different from any chicken nanban I'd had before, but as creative Japanese cuisine, it had character and was unquestionably delicious! Getting a set meal of this quality at this price made me feel I'd found a great place. I've since returned several times and tried other dishes, and everything has been delicious, without a single miss. The lunch curry, though, had a really delicious sauce with Japanese-style chicken dashi, but the ingredients were heaps of “chicken skin” and “bean sprouts,” another distinctive combination lol. Personally, I'm not very fond of boiled chicken skin, so this might divide opinions. Still, lunch here is truly excellent value. If it were near my home, I'd want it in my regular rotation. I want to keep supporting them, so I sincerely hope they somehow continue serving lunch for years to come!
View on GoogleI went in, drawn by the incredibly cheap karaage set advertised at the entrance. The owner seems to run the place alone, so tea and such are self-service. The crispy, freshly fried karaage was fantastic! Such incredible value! The curry someone else ordered looked delicious too. I'd like to visit in the evening as well.
