[3-minute walk from Tachikawa Station South Exit] Neo Se-abura Chaccha-style ramen. Chewy noodles and plenty of back fat. A slightly salty soy sauce base. The rice is top-grade Saga 'Sagabiyori'. Please enjoy it with rice in hand!

I'm an educated man but have limited knowledge of the ramen world. What they serve here tasted alright to me. The big man doing the cooking looks like he enjoys multiple bowls of it every day. I saw him sprinkling some kind of pork fat on mine; I'm not sure what it was though. I was in the rush to get to my train on time, so I pounded it down quickly. Since I had sushi for breakfast, I guess I'm going to have a salad for dinner.

The location is very good. It is easy to enter with an exterior view of the restaurant. You order by buying what you want from the ticket vending machine. I ordered a basic ramen. The soup is soy sauce based and a bit thick. The noodles are noodles that are wavy. The recommendation from the restaurant is to eat it with white rice. It was a good size and tasty.

[Order Menu] Tsukemen (medium portion), boiled egg, small rice [Impressions] First visit. This shop opened in December 2022. Found along the main street, a 3-minute walk from Tachikawa Station! The red sign stands out. Entered before 12:00 PM on a Saturday with no wait. Dip the smooth, medium-thick straight noodles into a rich soy sauce soup based on animal broth with green onions and a large amount of back fat floating in it. Garlic, ginger, and back fat are very effective, providing an excellent punch, and a tremendous sense of guilt! I also feel a resemblance to Suzu-oni in Mitaka. I also really liked the way of eating the soup by pouring it over domestic rice. It's also nice to be able to customize the saltiness and the amount of back fat! Since the taste is delicious, unfortunately, there were some issues in the operation, but I look forward to the future. Thank you for the meal!

This time I went to the ramen shop Arashin in Tachikawa! It was my first time, but I was hooked after one bite. The soup is not as heavy as it looks, with a sharp umami added to the sweetness and richness of the back fat, making it punchy but surprisingly easy to eat. The chewy medium-thick noodles go well with the rich soup, and it's very filling. The chashu is also tender and juicy, and I was very satisfied. I think this is an irresistible bowl for those who like greasy food. If you want to eat punchy ramen in Tachikawa, this is a must! The fact that it's close to the station is a big plus.
