Love everything about this place, food was excellent, the charsiu was thick and fragrant. The soup was tasty, its a mix of shoyu and tonkotsu, so you get best of both worlds! You can also order a rice 🍚 as it goes well with the soup. Lastly service was great and welcoming.

View on GoogleIekei ramen shop along Hagoromo Icho-dori. Arrived Sunday at 19:25. One customer ahead. Ordered ramen (thigh, ¥950). Preferences all normal. A bowl that feels tonkotsu despite being on the lighter side. Seems easy to eat even for those not used to eating Iekei. The taste is not too strong, gentle but the balance is just right. Easy to drink and delicious. The char siu (thigh or loin) is large, and the meat texture is solid. The spinach also has a good texture. The noodles from Mikawaya Seimen have a chewy texture. The drink is not water but oolong tea. This is very refreshing. A plus point that it's free. There are plenty of seasonings on the table, and many combinations go well with rice. There are table seats (4 seats), making it easy to use with family/friends. While eating, it became almost full and there was a wait. There is no affiliated parking, but there are parking meters along the road. Since it had been a while since I had Iekei ramen, this was a bowl that soaked into my body. I want to try the 2nd branch in Higashi-Koenji. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleRamen 950 yen, seasoned egg 150 yen, cabbage 150 yen. First visit. Arrived Sunday, July 2026 at 10:52, 4 people waiting. At opening time there were 8 people. Bought a ticket at the machine on the right of the entrance, gave it to the staff, requested all preferences normal, and was guided to a counter seat. High order rate for rice menu. 3-person operation, 1 for ramen, 2 for rice and service. Plenty of flavor-changing seasonings. Food arrived at 11:14. The soup is pale in color but the tonkotsu umami comes out strongly and the smell is suppressed. Chicken oil is modest, soy sauce sauce is mellow, easy to drink even among Iekei. The noodles are quite short, medium-thick round noodles. Smooth, easy to slurp, chewy and delicious. The amount is probably about 150g before boiling. Char siu can be chosen from loin or thigh, I ordered thigh. Thin but large, soft and the umami is solid. Spinach seems to be boiled in the store, but there is a lot of it and the stems are crunchy, no smell. Nori is thin but the aroma is strong. Cabbage is cut for easy eating and is thick, seasoned egg has just the right amount of salt sauce soaking in and the yolk is jelly-like. Finished while changing the flavor with garlic, pepper, spicy ginger, etc. The 2nd branch Soso might be more famous and have higher ratings, but this is a high-quality bowl that makes me think it's thanks to the foundation of the 1st branch. This seems to be a community-based type. When leaving, there were 6 people waiting.
