Pretty good place and quite affordable. i love the kotteri niboshi although it is definitely missing some acid in the soup to open up the flavors. Luckily there are plenty of sources of acid available for free such as vinegar on the table or the free flow lightly pickled beansprouts. adding the beansprouts to the soup opened it up so much more and the deep and rich niboshi flavors shows up more.
View on GoogleThis ramen joint is very popular with locals and travelers alike. The ramen itself is niboshi (dried fish) based, so although it is ramen, it is much healthier than most! Many people come here for their tsukemen and abura soba, and you can always find people taking photos inside. They also offer free pickled vegetables, and during lunch they offer a free side of rice if you wish. I personally go once a week for their abura soba! Would recommend!
View on GoogleThis ramen restaurant is a good walking distance from Tachikawa station. It was my first visit. I chose the basic ramen, "assari niboshi shoyu" (lightly simmered soy sauce). The ramen arrived in about 5 minutes. The bowl was small, but the ramen looked so beautiful that I wanted to take a picture of it. The soup was light and tasty, with a hint of niboshi (dried sardines). The noodles are moderately firm and slurp in your mouth. The chashu pork is delicious! My kind of taste. The pickled bamboo shoots are also very tasty. The spicy bean sprouts were a little bit too spicy for me. I drank the soup in no time. The bowl is small, but I am full. I strongly recommend this ramen shop and will come back again.

View on GoogleI haven't even been 5 times since I started eating here, but the service is courteous every time, which I appreciate, and I'm completely hooked. Until it gets busy, they're quick to direct you to available seats, and when the weather starts getting hot and you come in sweating, they seat you where the air conditioning is blasting. During lunch 11:00〜14:00? you can get a free half portion of rice. You can also choose not to have it. The ramen is delicious, of course, but the gyoza is too. The filling is so well seasoned that even I, who usually dumps enough pepper into vinegar and soy sauce to make something like 【pepper paste】, finished 2 servings of 6 without adding anything. They're delicious on their own! They apparently offer limited-time tsukemen periodically too; until the end of May this year, it was shrimp tsukemen.
