武蔵庵Musashian
We're a traditional soba and udon restaurant run by three generations of one family. Our buckwheat flour mainly comes from Hokkaido. Our udon is made in-house using supplies ordered from Kagawa Prefecture. So you can enjoy drinks too, we regularly rotate our sake selection, though it isn't large, letting you experience the four seasons. We also offer drinking snacks, from classic soba-shop dishes to home-style sides. We look forward to welcoming you.

Oyako-ten udon The chicken tempura portion is huge! The udon is chewy too, and really satisfying! Getting this for the 800円 range is fantastic. The restaurant wasn't busy, but the food took a little time. Still, it was delicious and great value! There's no parking, so I used a paid parking lot a few minutes' walk away.
View on GoogleAn overcast sky on Thursday Traveling by car Diagonally across from the restaurant there are parking spaces for about 2 cars The restaurant stands on its own Being an udon and soba shop it doesn't advertise itself much so it's a little hard to spot Clean inside Solo diners are ok too; there are counter seats Water is self-service The daily lunch special looked appealing too, but I chose bukkake oyako-ten Chicken tempura udon in a large portion It had 3 pieces of chicken tempura Super hot! The udon was like Musashino udon with a firm chew and texture A large portion is really substantial Thank you for the meal
View on GoogleI visited 武蔵庵 with a friend. This time I had their signature nikujiru soba. The piping-hot dipping broth was full of meaty flavor, and dipping the chewy soba into it released a wonderful roasted aroma and savoriness. It was truly fantastic. I'd definitely recommend this dish to meat lovers and soba lovers alike. There were many paintings of Tachikawa displayed inside, and it was lovely to experience the area's charm while enjoying a meal. The atmosphere was calm too, making it a relaxing place to spend time. I think it's perfect both for locals looking for delicious soba and for visitors to Tachikawa. I was very satisfied to share a delicious meal with friends. I'd definitely like to visit again.
View on GoogleThe lady running the place was cheerful, and the clean interior was lovely. The chicken tempura udon had lots of big pieces of chicken tempura, crispy at first and soaking up the broth later—delicious right to the end. I don't think you could get this at a chain restaurant for this price. Thank you for the meal. I'll stop by again.
View on GoogleVisited on a weekday just after opening (11時), and I was the first customer I wanted curry udon, but couldn't find it on the menu. There was curry dipping udon, but apparently it's only served on Fridays. Reluctantly ordered nikujiru udon. Apparently they offer a once-a-year one-coin special on 6月3日 and 4日! After a while it arrived with an unusual sight: bean sprouts, a seasoned boiled egg, and lemon on top of the udon😅 It had about 5〜6 slices of pork belly and was substantial. Partway through, I squeezed the lemon over the udon for a refreshing change Apparently lots of people bring things in, since there's a notice about it😆
