Visited during the busy year-end period. Ordered kakiage seiro. The soba was firm and delicious. I could taste the buckwheat flavor. The noodle dipping sauce was also delicious and not sweet. The kakiage was packed with an almost excessive amount of plump shrimp, making me very happy. The batter had a clear color too, so I think they use fresh oil. It was a delicate, crispy, refined kakiage like you'd get at a tempura restaurant. The kakiage dipping sauce also contained coarsely grated daikon, which felt thoughtful. verygood

This restaurant has many elderly customers. The soba is delicious and reliably enjoyable. The seasoning tends to be light, so people who like stronger flavors may find it bland.

I've been coming here since elementary school! When I was little, the grandfather, who has since passed away, was running it. Perhaps his son has taken over now? I think I've eaten here 100 times, but I've never ordered anything except cold soba! That's how much I love it‼️

I ordered an asari clam rice bowl and warm soba. I enjoyed them. The clam bowl smelled a little fishy, though it didn't affect the taste, but I do think they could provide a hand towel or paper napkins.

I'd been curious about this restaurant on the corner. It seems to be an old-fashioned, locally rooted place loved by the neighborhood. The menu is extensive. Despite its modest entrance, the interior is quite spacious. The weekday lunch offer of “a large portion of rice bowl or soba” had been rewritten as “a bite-sized extra portion of rice bowl or soba” (haha). The soba tastes like what you'd find at a typical soba shop. For an independent restaurant, I thought 550円 for “kake/mori” was cheap these days.
