Recommended okonomiyaki!! Delicious! Affordable! A place I recommend and have been visiting since before it was rebuilt. I especially recommend the ajitama and potato okonomiyaki and the ume shiso monja! There are various toppings, and adding octopus or mochi makes it even better. There are different seating options, including tatami seats and areas that feel like private rooms. They also have a dedicated parking lot a short distance away.
View on GoogleEverything is delicious! We ordered seafood salt monja, corn gratin monja, beef tendon okonomiyaki, pork belly okonomiyaki, edamame, anko maki, yakisoba with niku kasu, fried octopus, vanilla ice cream, and a Black Nikka highball. The staff cooked the corn gratin monja for us! You could add salt to the seafood salt monja to your own taste, and it was delicious! The beef tendon was spicy… The edamame had just the right amount of salt〜\( *´ω`* )/ The anko maki used chunky bean paste, which I usually don't like, but I could eat this one! The wrapper felt somewhere between a crepe and an omelet? Not too sweet and delicious✨ The vanilla ice cream was rich, with crunchy flakes underneath, and delicious too! The Black Nikka highball was just the right strength for me and tasted great〜☺ The atmosphere was nice, and the staff were polite! I'd never eaten okonomiyaki or monja anywhere other than 道頓堀 and お好み焼き本舗, but I want to come back here!! There were sunken kotatsu seats and tables. We chose the sunken kotatsu this time. It felt like a private room, so we could eat in peace!
View on GoogleCame on a friend's recommendation with a friend who loves monja! Even at 18:00, some people were already tipsy and the place was lively! We had ebi soba monja and the gratin monja I'd been curious about! The staff cooked the gratin one for us♪ It was just what I'd imagined and delicious, though perhaps a little heavy on the stomach⁉︎ I really liked it^_^ We also made sure to enjoy a crepe-like dessert with anko and ice cream♪ The restaurant was clean and pleasant. There's parking nearby, but we didn't know and used a paid lot. I wish we'd asked first. I'd love to eat here again!
View on GoogleAn okonomiyaki and monja restaurant well regarded by locals. I tried it on a local's recommendation. Apparently the okonomiyaki with 3 ingredients of your choice is popular; it's about 1.5 servings, with delicious bonito flakes, sauce, and aonori, and you can add mayonnaise for free. You can choose thick or thin noodles for the yakisoba, which was delicious too. We arrived around 18:30, and it was full by around 19:00. The staff were energetic and attentive, so it's easy to see why people return.
View on Google202304 Back after a long time. It used to feel like a hangout for Tokyo Women's College of Physical Education (Tonjo), full of female students, but maybe since the renovation? Lots of families were there. With tables and raised seating areas, it's a good place to bring children too. On Saturdays and Sundays, perhaps make a reservation? Or get there just after 17:00, otherwise I think it might be difficult to get in.
