Just 7 minutes walk from Tachikawa station, iL CHIANTI is an alluring Italian restaurant with a chic atmosphere. If you make a booking online, you can choose from different course options. The food in my photos was the ¥3500 per person course, which was plenty of food. This is a great restaurant to bring someone on a date, or if you'd like to go out with a group of friends or co-workers.

I've visited the south-exit restaurant 2 times, but the quality of the cooking seems inconsistent. I ordered 真夜中のスパゲッティ, which had been delicious at another branch, but the finished dish was left sitting for a while before being brought over. (It was taking so long after ordering that I watched the whole preparation.) While it sat there, the floor staff were chatting. It didn't taste good at all either. When I mentioned this while paying, I received a completely insincere apology, with an attitude that plainly said they thought simply apologizing would do. It left me feeling very upset. I feel the service at the south-exit restaurant in 立川 is very poor. I've visited several other branches and have never had an experience like this. My parents had come all the way to Tokyo from the countryside, and I took them there after telling them about the delicious pasta, only to be terribly disappointed. I will never visit the south-exit restaurant again. If you want to go to イルキャンティ, you should definitely choose another branch. I cannot recommend this restaurant.
