An old-fashioned set-meal diner that has probably filled the stomachs of everyone from tradespeople to the general public. There are plenty of set meals, and more people order sets than individual dishes. Parking is easy too, perhaps room for over 10 cars? Payment at the register is cash. Tasteful pottery (ceramics) is sold in the glass case in front of the register. The brisk, pleasant service may be another selling point. There are benches and tables outside for smoking.
View on GoogleFirst visit Stamina don (garlic flavor) with half ramen set ¥1000 The bold flavor hit the spot after a night shift, and combined with the Showa-era atmosphere, I was hooked! There's plenty on the menu, so I'm looking forward to next time!
View on GoogleStopped by for the first time while passing. It's the very image of a Showa-era neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Overall, the prices are a bargain—Showa-era prices. I had the stamina don set (ginger flavor), which was filling and left me full. The seasoning was slightly salty, but it was delicious. The restaurant is clean and the staff's service is very good. There's a wide menu, so I'd like to come back and try something else.
View on GoogleIt's in my neighborhood, so I'd been curious. I had the chance to visit and had fried rice + half ramen. It seems to be a long-established place, with various people's autographs. I ordered a large serving, but it felt a little short; with a bit more food, it would have been 5 stars.
View on GoogleFirst visit A neighborhood Chinese restaurant in Tachikawa I ordered the pork rice set (with mini ramen) 1000円 The ramen bowl is large, and the noodles are only slightly less than a regular serving, so I wouldn't really call it mini ramen (lol) The pork rice tastes like the garlic rice served at teppanyaki restaurants😋 There's parking, but it's a popular place, so expect it to be full; you're lucky if there's a space Note that payment is cash only I'll visit again
