I visited because I wanted some delicious crab. Since they said 香箱蟹 was available, I chose the 満ち潮 course and requested 香箱蟹 and 白えび sashimi. There were 6 of us, and they arranged a private room, so we could enjoy our meal at leisure. I was so busy eating that I missed taking photos, but everything was delicious.

A hidden gem for 河豚 dishes. Nothing flashy, but a relaxing place. I pass by all the time, but never really noticed it. Previously, I walked past on my way home from a nearby drinking spot, thought, oh, they're open, and decided to try it. Inside there are counter seats, tables, and something like private rooms. 河豚 dishes are their specialty, but they also have various other drinking snacks. I know 河豚 dishes are delicious, but they're in the luxury category, so for someone like me who prefers neighborhood Chinese diners, the place feels a bit intimidating and I don't actively seek it out. Still, I was curious, so naturally I ordered 虎河豚の唐揚げ and 河豚のヒレ酒. The fried pieces were thick and springy, and tastier than I'd imagined. The chef is skilled. The other snacks were delicious too. 河豚の卵巣の糠漬 was also an unusual delicacy and very tasty. The ovaries are normally deadly poisonous, but pickling them in rice bran for several years removes the poison. Why this happens still hasn't been explained—a mysterious food. The atmosphere is quiet, with soft background music, a hidden gem with a grown-up feel.

Thanks to its location, it doesn't get crowded, which is a relief (haha). Every ingredient is carefully selected, and the cooking that brings out their flavors is stunning. They also offer various Japanese sake to pair with the dishes. Please check the prices online.

The food is very delicious and the service is courteous. When you leave, the head chef personally comes out to see you off if he isn't busy. However, it's far from the station, the building itself isn't very clean (the restaurant is clean), and the road outside is congested because it's near a railway crossing, making it difficult to call a taxi… The building's elevator is so small that I wonder whether 5 men could fit. If it were a little closer to the station (at least on this side of the crossing), I think more customers would come. Only the location is disappointing. Also, the restaurant's full name is a bit… It makes it awkward to use for business entertaining… The food is delicious, and it's still a hidden gem, so I'll go again.
